Horses grazing in a UK pasture

For Horse Owners and Yards

Know what's in the grass. Before the gate opens.

Laminitis affects 1 in 10 horses every year and is the second leading cause of equine death. AnFiTest is the first at-home grass test, helping owners detect dangerous NSC spikes and prevent or manage the disease before it strikes.

The Problem

Laminitis: common. Devastating. Preventable. Until now, invisible.

Most owners only see it when the damage is done. By then it's months of recovery, thousands in vet bills, and a 70% chance it comes back.

What Owners Are Saying

I wish AnFiTest had existed a year ago. Rhodri has had every treatment going. £12,000 in vet bills. Something like this could have changed everything.

FAQ

Common questions.

When will the device launch?

UK public launch is May 2027 at Badminton. The waitlist is now open with priority access and early bird perks for sign ups.

How does the cartridge work?

You pop the cartridge into the device, add your grass sample, and the device reads the reaction. Your result appears in the app within minutes. No chemical handling, no calibration, no mess.

Can I use it on multiple horses?

Yes. You can add multiple horses and fields to the app, log results against each one, and track them individually over time.

Do I need a vet, or can I use it myself?

You can use it yourself. AnFiTest is designed for owners and yard managers to use in the field without training. The app translates results into clear, plain English guidance on whether it's safe to graze.

What happens if my horse already has laminitis?

The device is even more valuable. Around 70% of horses that have had laminitis will get it again, so weekly grass insight is critical for managing recovery, planning turnout, and avoiding a second episode.

Will it work on hay or only fresh grass?

Yes, the device works on hay and haylage as well as fresh pasture, so you can manage NSC risk year round and across your full feeding setup.

What if I cancel my subscription?

The device stays yours and you keep access to your historical data in the app. You won't be able to add new readings or receive fresh cartridges until you resubscribe.
